| 1 | remove sash | |
| 2 | remove parting strip , pullies,weights | |
| 3 | insulate weight pockets | |
| 4 | sand and remove any paint "crumbs" from edge of sash | |
| 5 | make a 5/8 x 5/8 groove down center of sash | |
| with either a router or table saw | ||
| 6 | place track on flat surface | |
| 7 | place sash in track on top of plastic guides | |
| bottom sash is beveled and should match the bevel on the bottom of the track | ||
| 8 | place the other track on top of the sash making a "sash sandwich" | |
| 9 | set the track and sash into opening | |
| 10 | fasten track to side jamb by either using a small (3/4 brad) or a staple gun | |
| 11 | reinstall top parting strip | |
| note: track might need to be lubricates with silicone spray to operate smoothly | ||
